The Davenport Hotel—A Regional Treasure

The Davenport Hotel, the Davenport Tower, and Hotel Lusso comprise the Davenport Collection — an elegant union of new and historic hotels in downtown Spokane. Whether classic or contemporary, full-sized or boutique, they are all committed to the same tradition of world-class service, sublime surroundings, and affordable luxury.

Constructed in 1914 under the auspices of Louis Davenport, the Davenport Hotel has served as a beacon of culture and refinement throughout the region for the better part of a century. In 2002, after the hotel narrowly escaped demolition, Walt and Karen Worthy completed a multimillion-dollar renovation. They spared no expense in restoring its priceless glamour.

Thanks in large part to the overwhelming success of the revitalized Davenport Hotel, the Worthys constructed the 328-room Tower in 2007 and acquired the more modest 48-room Hotel Lusso just two years later.

THE TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE CONTINUES

Today, guests of the Davenport Hotel are awed by the soaring architecture and award-winning amenities of Spokane's grandest hotel. With its custom-made beds draped in fine Frette linens, marble walk-in showers, several premier dining options, and a full-service spa and salon, the hotel has been rewarded with the AAA Four-Diamond Award, praise from Condé Nast, and a place on Expedia's list of the top ten hotels in America.

Guests of the Tower, which is located across the street from the historic hotel, delight in the exotic cosmopolitan décor and enjoy an additional indoor pool, jacuzzi, 24-hour fitness center, and the popular Safari Room Grill and Bar. The Tower has quite naturally become a favorite destination of business travelers and convention clientele.

Nearby, the chic, Euro-style Hotel Lusso fills the slender niche that exists between the historic hotel and Tower, catering to guests who prefer the coziness and tranquility of a small boutique hotel.
