Candlelight Concert with Susanna Poretsky Presented by Sacha’s Supper Club
Enjoy an intimate evening in the Historic Davenport’s Isabella Ballroom for a Candlelight Concert Series presented by Sacha’s Supper Club with world acclaimed opera star and Mezzo-Soprano Susanna Poretsky featuring Olena Galytska. The evening starts with a champagne reception at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 6pm. Choose from one of two ticket experiences:
General Admission:
- $75 per person
- Includes: Entry to Candlelight Concert and one complimentary glass of champagne
VIP:
- $125 per person
- Includes: Entry to Candlelight Concert, access to an intimate VIP reception with Susanna Poretsky following the concert from 7:30pm-8:30pm in the Historic Davenport’s Presidential Suite, a photo opportunity with Susanna, champagne with hors d’oeuvres, complimentary valet parking
About Susanna Porestsky:
Mezzo-Soprano Susanna Poretsky studied at the Conservatory of Music Lviv, Ukraine and Jerusalem Academy of Music. She received multiple scholarships from the American Israel Vocal Institute and was a special prize recipient of Operalia Plácido Domingo International Vocal Competition whom she performed with across Japan and the United States.
Susanna’s performances around the world include prestigious opera houses as The Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Arena di Verona, Paris National Opera, Carnegie Hall, Stockholm National Opera, Opera di Roma, San Francisco Opera, LA Opera, Washington Opera, New Israeli Opera with notable conductors as Mehta, Mazur, Tilson-Thomas, Ozawa, Sinopoli, Pappano and many more.
She has been faculty teaching classical voice at The University of California, Santa Barbara. Susanna resides in La Jolla, California where she performs with the San Diego Opera, and is a member of the San Diego District at The Metropolitan Opera National Council Committee. She is the Founder and Music Director of International Vocal Academy of Vocal Arts, a 5103c founded to grow developing vocal talent and share the beauty of the voice in music, connecting the community through the joy of music.
Excerpts from the concert include Arias by Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Strauss, and Popular Art and Folk Songs from Italy, France, Ukraine and Israel.
