From the roaring Spokane River to the ornate lobby of The Historic Davenport Hotel, Spokane truly boasts many incredible sights to see. Whether you’re a local or an out-of-town visitor, we have lots of cool hot spots you must not miss while you’re Downtown Spokane.

  1. The Centennial Trail
    The Centennial Trail is a nearly 40-mile paved recreational trail for pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles. The trail stretches from Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, Washington to the Washington / Idaho state line. It continues another 24 miles beyond the Washington state border into Idaho as the North Idaho Centennial trail through Post Falls and into Coeur d’Alene.   2. Manito Park
    Comprised of five major garden areas (the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden, Duncan Garden, Rose Hill, Lilac Garden and Ferris Perennial Garden), Manito Park is nationally recognized for its diverse horticultural displays.   3. Spokane Falls
    Winding for miles through thick basalt formations, the Spokane River carves out a gorge dividing the bustle of the city with spectacular natural beauty. With pedestrian suspension bridges and skyrides that offer incredible views of the falls, this stop is one that can’t be missed during your Spokane tour.
  4. Riverfront Park
    From the thundering Spokane Falls to the towering, historic Great Northern Clocktower to the hand-carved Looff Carrousel, the sprawling 100-acre campus is home to many of the region’s most iconic attractions. Families and friends can spend a whole day touring Riverfront Park!
  5. Martin Woldson Theater
    Calling all history junkies: we’ve got a spot for you! After much anticipation, the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox opened its doors in November 2007 and is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary of the restoration. Somebody pop the champagne! Originally Spokane’s Fox Theater was built in 1931, and this art deco treasure is now owned and operated by the Spokane Symphony and serves as the Symphony’s permanent home and as an incredible venue for all of the performing arts. The Theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Spokane Register, and the Washington Heritage Register.
  6. John A. Finch Arboretum
    The John A. Finch Arboretum is located in southwest Spokane on 65 acres of wooded hills. The Arboretum is a botanical collection of trees and woody plants that have been labeled for field study. The collection has been planted along the Garden Springs Creek and contains a wide variety of native and cultivated plant material compatible with growing conditions in Spokane. Visitors to the Arboretum can enjoy the varied landscapes which range from a native pine forest to a shady glen filled with rhododendrons. There are seasonal activities planned year-round and tours are available!
  7. The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
    Founded in 1916, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture is the largest cultural organization in the Inland Northwest, serving more than 100,000 visitors a year. They are one of Washington State’s five Smithsonian affiliates and are accredited by the Alliance of American Museums. The museum resides in the historic Browne’s Addition neighborhood of Spokane, Washington. Commonly referred to as the “MAC,” the museum preserves and cultivates the heritage of the Inland Northwest people through collections, exhibitions, and programs that bring their stories to life. Their incredible collection of Plateau Indian art and artifacts is the largest in the world; more than one million objects are maintained and preserved including fine art, artifacts, documents, photographs and material culture from the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
  8. Bing Crosby Theater
    The Bing is a performing arts theater and entertainment venue with a regular lineup of top performers. Designed by theater architect Edwin W. Houghton, this beautiful historic theater was originally built in 1914 as an 800-seat movie theater, known at the time as “Clemmer Theater”. Check out upcoming shows and events HERE!
  9. Spokane Ale Trail

  10.  Cork (Wine) District
    Wine a little, laugh a lot. All you vino lovers must check out the only, the only, the Cork District! Located right here in Spokane,the Cork District is a partnership of wineries and local organizations to promote wine tasting and tourism in Eastern Washington. The District is focused in the urban core of downtown Spokane and features fifteen award-winning wineries within walking distance of one other. You had us at Merlot!
  11. Mobius Children’s Museum

  13. First Interstate Center for The Arts
    This beautiful facility serves as the premier performing arts and entertainment venue in the Spokane region. The First Interstate Center for the Arts reopened in November 2018 after a $22 million renovation – holy smokes! The iconic building, a legacy from the 1974 World’s Fair, is located downtown on the beautiful banks of the Spokane River adjacent to Riverfront Park. It has hosted everyone from Jerry Seinfeld to “Phantom of the Opera” and “The Lion King.” Adaptable for symphony concerts, ballet, grand opera, road shows, country and rock music spectaculars, musical stage productions, travelogues, conventions and lectures, the impressive modernization will surely enhance the guest experience.
