Chef Shota Nakajima Headlines the 2026 PNW Food & Wine Festival
This October, acclaimed chef and television personality Shota Nakajima takes center stage at the second annual PNW Food & Wine Festival, returning to Spokane October 9-11, 2026.
Known for his inventive approach to Japanese cuisine and deep connection to the Pacific Northwest, Shota has earned three James Beard Foundation semifinalist nominations and gained a national following through appearances on Top Chef, Iron Chef Gauntlet, and Beat Bobby Flay.
Throughout the festival, Shota will help shape a weekend celebrating the flavors, ingredients, and culinary talent of the Pacific Northwest. Guests can experience his cooking firsthand during signature events, including An Evening Under the Chandeliers, a five-course dinner featuring Shota alongside fellow Pacific Northwest chefs Tony Reed, Adam Hegsted, and Davenport Hotels Executive Pastry Chef Alicia Armour.
For an even more personal experience, guests can join the VIP Meet & Greet with Chef Shota, an exclusive Saturday event offering the opportunity to spend time with the acclaimed chef while enjoying a welcome drink and small bites.
From chef-led experiences and curated tastings to wine, cocktails and brunch, the PNW Food & Wine Festival brings together some of the region’s most exciting culinary voices for three unforgettable days.
Join us October 9-11 at the Davenport Hotels in downtown Spokane for a weekend of food, wine, and Pacific Northwest hospitality headlined by Chef Shota Nakajima.
